A Successful Day Is One In Which You Have ...

A SUCCESSFUL DAY IS ONE IN WHICH YOU HAVE Stayed In Touch With Me, even if many things remain undone at the end of the day.  It sounds almost too good to be true, doesn't it?  You rarely reach day's end without a sense of failure to some degree.  The various means and measures of worldly "success" pull on you constantly, leaving you in a fragmented, unfocused condition.

To avoid confusion, you need a rule of thumb:  Seek to please Me.  When communicating with Me is your highest priority, I am pleased.  The more you commune with Me as you go through a day, the more you walk in My ways.  The Light of My Presence illumines the path before you, making sin both obvious and abhorrent. The same Light satisfies your soul.  So make this a successful day by staying in communication with Me.

  1. Jesus replied, "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment"
(Matthew 22:37-38 / New International Version)

"You have set your iniquities before you, our secret sins in the light of your presence" (Psalm 90:8 / New International Version)

This is what the LORD says: "Stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient paths, ask where the good way is, and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls" (Jeremiah 6:16 / New International Version)

"My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness, And my mouth shall praise You with joyful lips" (Psalm 63:5 / New King James Version)
